Outreach & Education Projects
NSBE Space publishes its research and that of other African American space professionals, using these publications and additional methods to serve as a bridge between the nation’s space programs and the Black community, increasing both student and adult awareness, interest, and benefit from space exploration. NSBE Space also seeks to more directly involve African Americans in spaceflight and to showcase that involvement to the Black community.
Administrative Projects
A significant amount of pre-planning is necessary to accomplish the ambitious space technology efforts of the NSBE Space SIG. Administrative projects allow the SIG leadership to coordinate and take the necessary planning actions to ensure programmatic success.
